Nir Altman is happy to present new work by Sol Calero, Susi Gelb, Anna Schachinger, and Sara Sadik in collaboration with Galerie Crèvecoeur, Paris, and Sophie Tappeiner, Vienna.

Anna Schachinger balances conceptual and intuitive impulses in her paintings, which comprise both figurative and abstract elements to make space for complex and pluralistic narratives. Susi Gelb employs a variety of resources for her sculptures, videos, and installations. With subtle gestures, she forms a poetic ecosystem that is both rhizomatic and alchemistic. Sol Calero expresses herself in a variety of media. One of her artistic strategies is to construct installations that are reminiscent of functional spaces. These environments are based on specific cultural codes and references. Sara Sadik draws inspiration from urban culture and questions its societal representation by exploring the aesthetic symbols of youths in working-class communities from the Maghrebi diaspora in France.
