The Sammlung Goetz is an internationally renowned collection of contemporary art which is presented in its own exhibition space in Munich. The collection was founded in 1993 and now includes more than 5,000 works of art. The collection continues to grow, incorporating new artistic positions and supplementing existing groups of works by select artists with new acquisitions. The Sammlung Goetz exhibition building is currently closed for renovation. Works from the collection can be seen in collaborative exhibitions at the Haus der Kunst and the Pinakothek der Moderne.
